What's the dress code?
Think semi-formal garden party vibes, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable.
(Here are some Pinterest boards which sum up what semi-formal garden party vibes might look like and here's another example) and kilts are welcome
There's only one rule - wear sensible shoes! The wedding is going to be outside on uneven ground, we don't want any broken ankles.
As it's going to be largely outdoors, we recommend you bring clothes for both very hot and slightly chilly weather.
Do you have a registry?
We're delighted to have our friends and family sacrifice their time and money to travel so far for our wedding, so we really don't expect gifts from anyone. However, if you're extremely keen to give us a gift here are some options:
- Help carbon offset your trip
- Contribute to our honeymoon
- A personal gift or heartfelt card.
How do you pronounce “Queaux”?
“K-oh” - the French love unnecessary letters!
What will I need to bring?
We'll add to this list as we plan but you will need:
- A warm jumper - it can get cold in the mornings and at night, even in summer
- A swimming costume for a dip in the river
- A torch or lots of battery on your phone - the street lights go off at 11pm
- Euros for the boulangerie etc.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! However, as the wedding is taking place on the banks of a river, kids will need to be closely supervised. For that reason, we'll be arranging a babysitting service for the big day, which we strongly encourage you to use.
I have dietary requirements, what will I be able to eat?
All meals will have a meat, vegetarian and vegan option. We will ask for your dietary requirements closer to the time.
